New courses will require approval by the Degree Committee, School Faculty Board and the University before the course can be advertised and made available for applicants.

Generally speaking final University approval is required by the April prior to applications opening in September.

For new courses where investment funding is being sought information on SIF funding can be found at:https://www.governance.cam.ac.uk/committees/PRC/Pages/Surplus-Improvement-Fund.aspx.
